NEWSPAPERS YOU SHOULD READ

Here you have a selection of some important newspapers. It is very important for you to read them as often as possible. As you know, the article you have in your PAU exam is always taken out from a newspaper. Every week you should select a piece of news and comment on it.

MISTAKES YOU SHOULD AVOID IN YOUR WRITINGS

I would have liked to print a T-shirt with a list of the most common mistakes you should avoid. Due to the quarantine it has been impossible to do so.. . but I am going to make a selection of those "forbidden" mistakes so that you can revise them when preparing your PAU exam.

1.- PEOPLE is always plural
 Many people think it is worth taking this into account.
2.- EVERYBODY is always singular
Everybody thinks it is worth taking this into account.
3.-You always need a subject in English 
It is important to highlight........
4.- The word "news" is always singular
The news sounds good
5.-After a preposition you always need a gerund
I am interested in studying abroad
6.- Adjectives come before nouns and they never have "s"
They have taken the necessary measures to stop it
